This Privacy Policy applies to the current version of the Noir Risen Shadows mobile application and any updates released thereafter.

CURIOUSCHAOS STUDIO LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Noir Risen Shadows mobile application (the “Application”), available on the Google Play Store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Application. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring transparency about our practices.

By using the Application, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Application.

1. Information Collection

We collect information to provide, improve, and personalize the Application’s functionality. The types of information we collect depend on how you interact with the Application:

A. Information Collected by Third Parties To provide ads and analytics, the Application integrates services from third-party providers. These providers may collect information such as your IP address, device model, and advertising ID.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain the Application: Managing anonymous sessions and ensuring secure access.

  • To Improve Performance: Using analytics to identify bugs, optimize gameplay, and enhance user experience.

  • To Serve Advertisements: Using Google AdMob to deliver relevant ads and manage ad frequency.

  • To Process In-App Purchases: All financial transactions are handled securely by Google Play. We do not access or store your credit or debit card information.

  • With Service Providers: We share data with Google (Firebase, AdMob, and Play Services) to facilitate analytics and advertising as described in Section 1.b.

  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law to comply with a subpoena, court order, or government request.

  • Business Transfers: If CURIOUSCHAOS STUDIO LTD is involved in a merger or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

 

4. Children’s Privacy

This Application is not intended for or directed to children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a user under 16, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us.


5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: You can reset your Android Advertising ID or opt out of interest-based ads via your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

  • Consent Management: For users in the EEA and UK, we use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) to collect and store your preferences regarding data collection and personalized advertising. You can review or change these choices at any time through the “Privacy Settings” or “Consent” button located within the Application’s settings menu.

6. Data Retention

  • Analytics Data: Retained in aggregated form for up to 14 months (Google Analytics default).

  • Advertising Data: Google AdMob retains data per its own retention policies to measure performance and comply with legal obligations.

  • Game Data: Saved locally as long as the Application is installed.

 

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (such as encryption and access controls) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

CURIOUSCHAOS STUDIO LTD is based in Mauritius. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your jurisdiction (such as the United States) where our service providers (Google) operate. We ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws through standard contractual safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the new policy on this page or through an in-game notification. Your continued use of the Application after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
